[Chemiluminescence in experimental atherosclerosis and hemosorption]

A state of lipid peroxidation was studied in blood of rabbits with hypercholesterolemia in the course of experimental atherosclerosis and in hemosorption using 3 types of chemoluminescence of blood plasma and erythrocytes. Simultaneously with increase of cholesterol content in blood plasma lipid peroxidation was also intensified. Sorption of cholesterol and of low density lipoproteins was accompanied by alterations in chemoluminescence.
