[Acute cholecystitis as a problem of laparoscopic surgery]
Abstract:
The article deals with experience in 89 operations of laparoscopic cholecystectomy in patients with acute cholecystitis aged 17 to 82 years. A total of 92 attempts were made, 3 patients underwent laparotomy. Forty-five patients had catarrhal, 35 phlegmonous, and 9 gangrenous cholecystitis. In the preoperative period 37 patients were subjected to endoscopic retrograde pancreaticocholangiography, endoscopic papillosphincterotomy was performed in 28 of them, in 9 the operation was complemented by nasobiliary drainage. As a result intraoperative cholangiography had to be conducted only in 3 patients. Intraoperative complications developed in 42 and postoperative in 18 patients (local in 15 and general in 3). There were no fatal outcomes.
