Abstract:
Career progression in nursing increasingly requires evidence of academic as well as practical abilities. CATS claims are awarded for proof of prior learning. Universities differ in the tariffs they award for nursing courses so it pays to shop around. Developing appropriate academic study skills is more important than claiming maximum CATS points.
