Prospering through professionalism

An ADA study commissioned in 1989 and published in 1991 revealed public attitudes toward dental professionals. This paper suggests asking dental professionals about some of their attitudes toward dentistry. Personal prosperity or fulfillment, as well as professional prosperity, is possible in the dental profession and can be achieved by pursuing a variety of strategies.
