  • To evaluate the safety and efficacy of laparoscopic gastroenterostomy for duodenal obstruction.

  • Ten patients with duodenal obstruction underwent laparoscopic gastroenterostomy between 1992 and 1994.
  • The primary indication was malignant obstruction (9 patients); one had benign obstruction.
