Summary

This study developed a novel immunotoxin by conjugating Pyrularia thionin to an anti-CD5 antibody. This Pyrularia-thionin-anti-CD5 conjugate effectively targets and eliminates CD5+ lymphocytes, showing promise for treating graft-versus-host disease and CD5+ leukemias.
