Abstract:
Pseudomonas aeruginosa causes episodes of infection which always have a deteriorating effect on the clinical course of cystic fibrosis. The factors and mechanisms involved were discussed on the basis of data in the literature and the experience at the Necker-Enfants-Malades hospital. Preventive measures and indications and modalities for treatment are also presented.
