    Two patients experienced anuria after extracorporeal lithotripsy, a procedure for kidney stones. Systemic intoxication also occurred, requiring further investigation into its unclear origin.

    Background:

    • Extracorporeal lithotripsy is a common procedure for treating kidney stones.
    • The study reviewed 500 cases of extracorporeal lithotripsy.

    Observation:

    • Anuria, the absence of urine production, was observed in 2 patients.
    • These cases occurred on post-procedure days 3 and 5.
