Journal and publishing characteristics for 42 nursing publications outside the United States
1Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center School of Nursing, Lubbock, USA.
Abstract:
A survey was conducted to learn about characteristics of English-language journals originating in countries other than the United States. Questionnaires were mailed to editors of 102 nursing journals; more than half responded. Information about 42 journals, from 14 countries, pertains to characteristics of the journals, their leadership, review process, and journal staff. Such information expands our awareness of publishing opportunities in a global society.
