Summary
Neonatal lupus erythematosus (NLE) can present with telangiectases, which are vascular lesions, even without prior skin inflammation. These early NLE signs can appear in sun-protected areas.

- These vascular findings occurred independently of classic "lupus dermatitis."

- These vascular lesions may appear in sun-protected body sites.
- NLE diagnosis should consider telangiectases even without concurrent dermatitis.
