[Reversible partial paraplegia after sympathetic lumbar block]

Abstract:
We describe a case of left sided paraplegia after chemical lumbar sympathectomy in which recovery was nearly total. The cause was probably an ischemic myelopathy due to spasm or damage to Adamkiewicz's radicular artery after puncture or direct infiltration during the procedure.
