Nursing malpractice litigation is definitely on the increase in the US. Evidence shows that this same trend is beginning in Australia and the UK. This article addresses some of the reasons for this increase in litigation, and identifies actions that a nurse can undertake to prepare for a deposition or court testimony if called upon to do so.
