Background:

Gastric buttons are used for enteral feeding.
The One-Step gastric button is a newer device for gastric access.

Purpose of the Study:

To prospectively evaluate the outcomes of One-Step gastric button placement.
To identify common complications associated with the device.

Main Methods:

Prospective evaluation of 86 patients undergoing One-Step gastric button placement.
Documentation of intraprocedural and postprocedural complications within 90 days.

Main Results:

17% of patients experienced placement problems, often linked to the stoma measurement device.
30% of patients developed peristomal infection, leakage, or device migration within 90 days.
