1Department of Surgery, University of California-Davis, Medical Center, Sacramento 95817, USA.
Abstract:
Hepatic abscess is a known complication following packing for massive liver injury. Posttraumatic hepatic arterial pseudoaneurysms are rare. The trend in management in each individual complication has been toward minimally invasive techniques. We present a case wherein the two processes occurred together and were managed safely with a transcatheter approach.
