[The decontamination of microorganisms in potable water by using ultraviolet radiation]

The inactivation of Escherichia coli, Streptococcus faecalis, Proteus vulgaris, Pseudomonas aeruginosa and Bacillus subtilis by UV radiation in batch and flow-through systems and influence of different factors on inactivation have been studied. The necessary required disinfection doses were defined and compared with the data of other authors.
