Abstract:
Isolated congenital luxation of the head of the radius is the most frequently encountered malformation of the elbow joint. From 1966 to 1982, the diagnosis was made in 10 patients at the Vall d'Hebron Materno-Infantil Hospital in Barcelona. We emphasize the importance of echographic exploration and now of nuclear magnetic imaging to study the nature of the anomalies involving the soft tissues. An evaluation of treatment is also presented.
