Abstract:
A procedure is described for fractionation of phosphoinositides using silica gel thin layer chromatography. The procedure may be used in routine studies as this makes it possible to isolate phosphoinositides by using only one system of solvents. The evidence for isolation of phosphoinositide fractions is discussed.
