Rhinophyma, associated with carcinoma, treated successfully with radiation

Two patients with significant rhinophyma with simultaneous basal cell carcinomas had complete control of both conditions by orthovoltage x-ray therapy. The use of this modality in the control of rhinophyma alone should be considered.
