Antipersonnel mine injuries in Somaliland: the pattern of injury

Twenty patients injured by antipersonnel mines are described, with the emphasis on the relationship between the pattern of injuries, type of accident and age of the patients. Particularly severe injuries were seen in patients who travelled in the front seat of cars. Practical advice is given for the treatment.
