Abstract:
Inherent problems exist in the actual delivery of doses of medications to pediatric patients, particularly with the i.v. route of drug administration. Standardized policies and procedures for recognized problems with specific routes of drug administration, along with pharmaceutical industry cooperation, are essential for solving drug delivery problems in pediatric therapeutics.
