Abstract:
In this study, the Management and Professional Job Functions Inventory (MP-JFI) was used to compare nurse executive skills with what nurse experts, executives from multiple industries, and multi-industry middle managers feel are needed leadership skills. Nurse executives with MBAs closely fit the profile of what executives from varied industries say is needed in the executive role.
