[Actualizing tendency and specific motives in human behavior]

In the presented investigation the author analyzes in more detail the relationship between the actualizing tendency and specific motives in the personality theory and therapy elaborated by C. Rogers. She discusses conditions inevitable for effective psychotherapy which were defined arbitrarily, based on observations. She mentions the results of many research projects from this area.
