Abstract:
In the past, library personnel had trouble finding information for health and medical questions. Libraries must be sensitive to the private nature of medical questions and must be cautious not to provide misinformation or personal opinions. In this article, the author describes how a subscription to the Health Reference Center from the Information Access Company (Foster City, CA) solves these problems and more.
