Conventional communication techniques--hospital newsletters, meetings and inservices--are not always the most successful methods. To accommodate the hectic schedules of OR personnel, short, one-page information briefs are placed at convenient locations--the scrub sinks. Within five minutes, pertinent information is communicated effectively, reinforcing inservices and staff meetings.
