Abstract:
It is possible, often years after provision of a satisfactory denture, that an abutment tooth or restoration may fracture requiring a crown to be constructed. Ideally this should be fabricated incorporating the design features required and a new partial denture made. However, resources such as time and finance may preclude this. The purpose of this article is to describe a technique whereby a crown can be made to an existing partial denture.
