Summary

Faeriefungin, a novel antibacterial and antifungal agent, showed no retinal toxicity in rabbits at doses of 100 micrograms or less. Higher doses caused moderate to severe retinal toxicity, suggesting a safe therapeutic window for treating eye infections.
