[A nonsurgical method for removing hyphema after glaucoma operations]

Abstract:
The author suggests an atraumatic clinically tried method for removal of hyphemas after antiglaucoma surgery, consisting in massage of the eyeball which helps force out the blood from the anterior chamber under the conjunctiva if the operation was performed with a fistulizing effect. The method is safe, eyeball massage is not only a therapeutic, but a diagnostic and prognostic measure as well, helping define further treatment strategy.
