Abstract:
Phagocytosis of sheep red cells and rat red cells by rat peritoneal macrophages is studied in two different media, foetal calf serum and rat serum: it is found that rat serum significantly decreases the uptake of rat red cells (but not sheep red cells) by rat macrophages.
