Abstract:
The authors presented results of radial keratotomy performed in 50 eyes due to following indications: cosmetics (52%), anisometropia (34%) and myopic astigmatism (14%). The follow-up ranged from 6 to 36 months. An American technique with 8 corneal incisions were used. The mean decrease of myopia achieved after surgery was about 5 diopters. The only real complication was corneal micro-perforation in one eye, in two different incisions.
