Summary

Certain compounds like adenosine and caffeine can reduce mutation rates in Crepis capillaries seeds by increasing cyclic adenosine monophosphate (cAMP) levels. Higher doses, however, lost this antimutagenic effect and sometimes lowered cAMP.
