    • Detected antigen has a molecular weight >100,000-200,000 M.W. and may be an inflammatory product.

    Conclusions:

    • RABCa shows promise for immunological screening in early disease detection, particularly for bladder cancer and urinary infections.
    • Further refinement of the antiserum and assay conditions is needed to improve specificity for bladder cancer.
    • The detected antigen may represent a common marker for inflammation associated with various urinary tract conditions, including cancer.
