Summary

New peritoneal dialysis solution bags free of bis-(2-ethylhexyl) phthalate (BEHP) show reduced peritoneal fibrosis compared to traditional polyvinyl chloride (PVC) bags. This suggests improved safety for patients undergoing continuous ambulatory peritoneal dialysis (CAPD).
