The most important reasons for erectile dysfunction are summarized as well as its examination and the adequate treatment. In more than 80 percent erectile impotence is an organic disease. Therefore it is disgraceful for the patients concerned, if health insurance companies and the Federal Office for Social Insurances refuse to take on the liability to pay for the necessary examinations and forms of therapy.
