[Pathomorphologic structural variants of fetal membranes in oligohydroamnios]

Morphological heterogeneity of oligohydroamnion in 25 cases is shown. Inflammatory processes of hematogenic origin prevailed in 36% of cases; in 40% there were atrophic processes or microcystic transformation of the decidual endometrial glands against the background of the endometrial deficiency; dysontogenetic forms with the preservation of a large number of atrophic villi in the cytotrophoblast were observed in 24% cases. These variants should be taken into consideration when a differential treatment is developed.
