Residency research requirements: time for a reappraisal?

Sometimes we want to see how people change over time, as in studies of human development and lifespan. For example, we may survey a group of individuals about their dietary habits at age 20, retest them a decade later at age 30, and then again...

The two sources for collecting information are primary and secondary. After gathering information, interpretation and validation help to complete the data. The purpose of assessment is to establish data with the initial information, to interpret data about the patient's perceived needs and health problems, and to respond to these problems identified.
