Abstract:
Therapeutic management of critical illness in elderly patients can be complex and challenging. Multiple medications are often required, and risks of unexpected responses or adverse drug reactions can be high. Careful monitoring for therapeutic effect, avoidance of unnecessary medications, and observation for adverse reactions are of major importance.
