Abstract:
Retrospective examinations comprised 26 patients with idiopathic, spastic blepharospasm, who received injections of botulinum A toxin subcutaneously or into orbicular muscle of eye. In 6 cases complete recovery was achieved. In all patients, symptoms subsided for a mean period of 12.5 weeks. These results are similar to those described earlier in literature.
