Abstract:
Cardiovascular diseases account in this country for more than half the mortality. In the submitted review the authors discuss reactive oxygen products as one of the possible risk factors of the mentioned diseases. The second part of the paper deals with antioxidative enzymes and antioxidants in cardiovascular diseases as well as with possibilities of their use in prevention and improvement of adverse clinical conditions.
