Preventing childhood accidents: an intervention exercise in Clwyd

Childhood accidents cause much suffering in terms of morbidity and death. There are also enormous financial implications. This article describes a training programme in preventive care that formed the basis for a workshop to increase health care workers' awareness of the problem areas.
