Summary

Thyroid-stimulating hormone (TSH) activates phospholipase C (PLC) in normal and cancerous thyroid tissues. Aberrant TSH-stimulated PLC activity was observed in aggressive thyroid cancers, suggesting a role in neoplasm development.
