Interferon alfa-2b therapy in children with chronic hepatitis B

Interferon alfa-2b treatment for chronic hepatitis B virus (HBV) in children effectively inhibited viral replication and shortened disease progression. This pediatric HBV therapy showed significant viral DNA loss and antigen clearance in a majority of participants.
