Late problems faced by childhood cancer survivors

One in 650 children will develop cancer by the age of 15 years, of whom 50-60% will be cured. Early recognition and appropriate management of the long-term sequelae of their treatment is essential if we are to provide these children and young adults with as normal a life as possible.
