[EMG findings in patients with diabetic polyneuropathy treated with sabeluzole]

Author trie to prove a possible positive effect of sabeluzole in patients with diabetic polyneuropathy. All patients were examined by EMG stimulating method for n. tibialis sin., n. peroneus sin. and n. medianus dx. The distal motor latency, motor conduction velocity and sensory conduction velocity with areas of motor evoked responses were evaluated. The realised test had lower sensitivity than the originally planned one and the expected positive effect of sabeluzole was not proved by this method.
