Abstract:
Dr. Madana DeHart was the first female graduate physician to practice in New Jersey. She was soon followed by Drs. Sarah DeHart, Florence DeHart, and Clara Krans. They had many barriers to overcome in their practices, but they succeeded. These women serve as role models to all physicians.
