Abstract:
We present here two cases of latex allergy with ocular manifestations due to the use of condoms and the manipulation of rubber bands. In both cases the in vivo (prick tests) and the in vitro (RAST) testing were positive. In one of these two cases, the immunological tests performed in tears showed a local synthesis of latex specific IgE.
