[Simultaneous bilateral retinal detachment as a delayed consequence of retinopathy of prematurity]

The case of prematurely born woman, aged 22, with bilateral retinal dialysis and detachment in high myopic eyes is presented. The minor head-trauma preceded the onset of the detachment. The segmental scleral buckling procedures were performed in both eyes. The attachment of the retina and some improvement of visual acuity were achieved.
