Summary

Aging in male ddY mice shows increased glomerular extracellular matrices, including thickened glomerular basement membranes and nodules. However, the number of glomerular anionic sites remained unchanged with age.

  • To investigate age-related changes in glomerular ultrastructure and anionic sites in male ddY mice.
