    Summary

    This study presents a rare case of clinical stage IA Hodgkin's disease localized to the epitrochlear lymph nodes. The findings suggest unusual patterns of disease spread, prompting further theoretical discussion.

    Background:

    • Hodgkin's disease is a cancer of the lymphatic system.
    • Epitrochlear lymph node involvement is uncommon in Hodgkin's disease.

    Observation:

    • A patient presented with clinical stage IA Hodgkin's disease affecting only the epitrochlear lymph nodes.
    • Staging laparotomy revealed a solitary focus of disease in the spleen.

    Findings:

    • This represents the first reported case of Hodgkin's disease exclusively limited to epitrochlear lymph nodes.
    • The spleen also showed a single site of Hodgkin's disease.

    Implications:

    • This case challenges conventional understanding of Hodgkin's disease dissemination patterns.
    • Further research into the lymphatic spread of Hodgkin's disease is warranted.
