Abstract:
Oncogene amplification and loss of heterozygosity for tumor suppressor genes have been correlated with prognosis in a variety of human tumors. Detection of mutations in tumor suppressor genes have been found to serve as risk factor determinants in gastrointestinal adenocarcinomas.
