Summary

Hyaluronic acid (HA) promotes faster skin healing. Medical-grade HA in adult skin cells accelerated fibroblast migration and wound closure, mimicking fetal healing without scarring.

Background:

Findings:

  • Exogenous HA (5 mg/ml) induced morphological changes in fibroblasts.
  • Fibroblast cultures treated with HA exhibited accelerated wound closure compared to controls.
